Standard Operating Procedure

From registration to verified report

The brochure documents a structured medical check-up process designed to verify identity, perform clinical examinations, collect and process specimens, complete radiology where needed and release verified results.

Reception & Registration

Verify the referral slip and passport, confirm personal documents, record candidate details using passport reader/device, record fingerprint/thumb impression and receive the service charge.

Identity & Clinical Interview

Confirm identity using fingerprint and passport, then review family disease history, allergies, present health status and relevant clinical history.

Physical / Clinical Examination

Measure height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, heart rate and respiratory rate; assess vision, color blindness, hearing and other physical/systemic findings.

Specimen Collection

Collect blood and urine as applicable. Specimens are labeled, system-dispatched and placed in appropriate containers/tubes and biohazard packaging.

Radiology & Imaging

Confirm identity and take chest X-ray (PA view), plus any other X-ray required by the physician.

Laboratory Examination

Blood and urine samples are sent to the laboratory for the required examinations across the relevant diagnostic disciplines.

Result Verification & Release

Results are verified before release through the medical center information system; hard-copy results can be provided during system downtime.

Specimen Collection

Key instructions

  • Specimens must be properly labeled.
  • Collection and dispatch should be managed in the system before sending to the laboratory.
  • Use the appropriate container or blood collection tube for the requested test.
  • Place specimen containers/tubes in a biohazard bag with the request form where applicable.
  • Send specimens promptly to the laboratory after collection.
  • Venous blood is preferred and required volume should be followed for the test.
  • Blood collection tubes should be gently inverted; vigorous mixing should be avoided.
